Work with BATF/NFA
Branch to eiliminate the Chief Law Enforcement (CLEO) signoff
requirement of current NFA transfer forms (1, 4, etc.)

Eliminate the separate
Citizenship Compliance form and integrate with other existing
forms

Provide research and
logistical research for the creation of an additional amnesty
registration period for unregistered NFA items

Bring clarity, efficiency
and common sense to the issues surrounding the creation, modification
and use of M16/AR15 type weapons

Eliminate the arbitrary
and onerous restrictions set forth by the BATF regarding acquisition
of so-called "post sample" weapons

Clearly define the
difference between reactivation versus manufacturing.

Develop an improved
Form 3 process that eliminates the possibility of weapons being
approved for transfer without the owner's knowledge or consent.

Facilitate the ability
for police departments to easily trade in multiple post sample weapons
for upgrade

Obtain final determination
on which side plate on a Maxim is the actual registered weapon
